Once you start building up your in-product guidance with a handful of Chameleon Experiences, your account can get quite packed. To stay on top of your efforts and always find the right Experience, we strongly recommend you group them together using Tags.

This way, you can organize and filter out any specific Experience whenever needed. And every teammate who lands on your account will easily find their way around. 😊

You can add Tags to any Experience you build from the Dashboard. There are 2 ways you can do this

  • From the configuration page of an individual Experience

  • From the created Experience list in the Dashboard

💡 Come up with a simple, yet effective organizational structure and use them to help your team succeed.

When you’re building out an Experience in the Dashboard, it’s very easy to Tag it as soon as you start configuring it. Click under its name on “Add tags to categorize” and you’ll get the complete list of created Tags on your account.

Search or scroll for a specific one (or multiple ones) and click Confirm to add it to your Experience.

And if you don’t find the right one, you can create it on the spot. Search for a Tag and if there aren't any created as per your search, you can add a new one. Chameleon will pick up that work and you can click the "+ Create new .... tag" to create and add it to your Experience.

💡 You can also get back any time to an existing Experience to Tag it in the same way.

You can also add Tags to your Experiences from the created Experiences list in the Dashboard. Here you can Tag Multiple Experiences at once, or edit their Tags.

Select an Experience type from the left-side menu and from the list of created ones select one, or more Experiences. From the "Actions" menu on the right side, click "Edit Tags"

Next, you'll be prompted to select which Tags you want to add. If an Experience already has a Tag (or multiple ones) to it, you will see them as selected in the list. Search for an available Tag to add, or create a new one if the available ones don't fit.

Hit "Confirm" once you're done and the changes will be applied in an instant. 😉 From the Tagging panel, you can also click "Manage Tags" to be taken to the Tags page in the Dashboard.

You’ll find all created Tags in the Dashboard's Data Management, Tags section. Here you can review all Tags, as well as any specific details like their creator and how many Experiences, have it attached.

Here you can edit Tags' names and descriptions as well as delete Tags you no longer need. Simply click on a Tag's name or the ✏️ icon on the right to make changes to one.

If you already have a system in place or just creating Tags now, you’ll find the ability to filter and view Experiences by Tags is a useful one. 😌

In your created Experience list you can:

  • View Experiences grouped by Tags

  • Filter out specific Experiences by Tags

Use the Group by Tag view to quickly scan your Experiences all grouped up together under specific Tags. You can collapse Tag groups that are not relevant and easily get the high-level data from the table.

To save precious time, you can edit existing Tags or Tag Experiences altogether, you can select Tag groups or individual Experiences and click the "Bulk actions" dropdown to find the Edit Tags option.

Next, you'll be prompted to select an existing Tag or add a new one to your bulk selection. In this case, as well you'll see the already applied Tags as pre-selected, and you can easily Tag them. 😉 This way you

💡 If your Tag isn't available you can also create one from here.

You can also reorder the Tag groups in your list view. Select a group, drag and drop to a new position on the list to keep in eye's view essential Tags.

Note: Reordering an Experience group will not affect its priority order. To adjust its priority, you'll need to select the Sort by priority option and re-arrange your Experiences accordingly.

After adding Tags to your Experiences, you will be able to filter them using the Tags created. This way, you can always bring up important Experiences, make quick improvements, and know where your efforts lie.

Add a filter to your Experience list, regardless if you're in a List or Card view. Pick the Tag filter from the dropdown and select if the Experience is or isn't a part of the Tag group. And that's about it, you'll get a list of Tours or Microsurveys for example, from the same Tag group. 😉

💡 When filtering, don't be shy in adding as many parameters as you need to narrow down the list of Experiences. You can leverage:

  • Completion rates

  • Environments

  • URLs targeted

  • Author

  • Status

  • Segment

  • Date created/edited

  • Name
